Whether you are Warren Buffet or a beginner investing for the first time, the fact is nobody knows exactly where the market is going and at some point we all make money and we all lose money. The best we can do is to prepare ourselves to make the most informed decisions possible so that over the long-run we are growing our wealth.

I am not like some people who will promise you vast riches overnight, because for every success story like this there are hundreds of other failures. In fact you will not hear me discuss dollar amounts very often, because every investor has a different situation with different goals. However, personally I was able to build net equity of a million dollars within ten years of working a modest paying job due to investing wisely all along the way. I did not have one or two big trades or get lucky in a penny stock, I simply saved vigilantly, invested constantly usually getting great percentage returns and always grew both my account and knowledge. To do this I combined many different strategies (from day trading to long-term blue-chip dividend investing to options) in order to maximize returns and minimize downside risk. The fact is that companies will succeed and fail in spite of our investments, so our purpose as investors is simply to choose the most efficient investments to place our money, allowing it to grow to its full potential. Seeing so many individuals around me getting minuscule returns and paying astronomical fees to financial advisers they barely had any contact with motivated me to share my knowledge with others. The simple fact is that we are all trying to increase our wealth, whether we are investing our first dollar or have billions, and the goal here is to increase our wealth together with anyone interested in following along.
