About Us
I have spent the past decade trading as an independent investor with no affiliations to any financial institutions, fund managers or publicly traded corporations. As such I am completely unbiased and just like you profit only from successful investments.
Unfortunately, the facts are that financial advisors and institutions all profit by collecting trading and management fees, pushing their firm's products on clients and even by hedging against the investments they sell you. It doesn't matter if you make money or lose money, the banks still make billions, top financial advisers still make seven figures a year and corporate CEO's still live luxuriously. Know that if you choose to follow any investment ideas here that our interests align, when the ideas work we will profit together, and when they don't I will be taking a loss too. Plain and simple, if I make money then you make money too without anyone skimming off the top or trying to sell you certain products motivated by kickbacks. You can rest assured that I put my money where our mouth is, I make roughly a thousand trades a year and only share ideas I myself am considering putting my own hard earned money into. I specialize in equity investments in North America (having traded thousands of equities and options mostly on the TSX, Venture, NYSE, NASDAQ) with some experience in global markets. Equity markets are a passion and I constantly scour the globe for as much equity knowledge as I can possibly amass. A typical trading day involves dissecting company earnings, broker/analyst ratings and top picks, stock fundamentals and valuations, technicals and equity movements, financial news online, in print, on TV and on social media, and much more. With all of the time and effort put into my investments I have been fortunate enough to be very successful (my overall portfolio has consistently returned 20% per year with even greater returns of upwards of 50% and several years over 100% in smaller pure day trading accounts). The small flat monthly fee for member services is simply to cover the numerous expenses in order to maintain these services, my profits are made from trading and I would love to share this success with you!
Background
A small business background with education and experience specializing in Economics, Accounting and Mathematics. Therefore, finance and equity markets were always an attraction.
Seeing people of all ages being taken advantage because they were less financially savvy or unable to manage their finances alone acted as a repellent from major financial institutions. No investor deserves to be taken advantage of with the high fees and poorly performing financial products being pushed by much of the financial industry. Therefore, independent trading and offering minimal flat fee based financial services seemed like the only viable option. Hopefully you are able to benefit from these services and also become financially independent.
